Is it an angel who came down to us from heaven, covering his face, ashamed and appalled by what he has seen? I slowly approached the winged creature, curious to reveal its identity. On a closer look, I find prints of feathers, meticulously stitched together by hand to create the illusion of a real living thing.

Yael Harnik created a notion of inward movement in the sculpture, a sort of cocoon in an eternal process of emergence. We can not discover what is hidden inside, not even through the narrow crack. I will never know what has horrified the angel so, and why he chose to cover his face.
