Ashkelon National Park is part of an extensive project called National parks. It is the subject this artist is busy with for the last few years; she captures moments of joy in leisure places in Israel.
In this work the angle of shooting and the blurred horizon turn the waves, the sky and the sand, into colored fields with cropped enlargements. Watching a few minutes longer and the color fields become more and more abstract, it is not any more the sea shore, it becomes an internal view.
Siman Tov takes the sources for her abstractions from urban sites and from traces people leave in places.
